Currently over 58% of our students are international students who enrol from outside the U.A.E. The student diversity adds vibrance to the campus through fresh perspectives and unique experiences.

International Student Centre

Dedicated international centre is set-up by the Student welfare division for the international students to pursue various interests, gain exposure of new things, adapt to local culture and have meaningful interaction with students on the campus. Comprehensive Support is provided throughout the stay & study at BITS Pilani & beyond.

Basic Arabic Course is also introduced by the Institute to familiarize the International Students with the local language of this country.

Studying in a new country can be both exciting and overwhelming. To help international students with their transition to Dubai and the BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, the Centre offers orientation and Freshmen welcome session at the beginning of the programme.

The institute ensuresa smooth onboarding and orientation. Students are oriented about the local culture, law, and other important details along with information about BITS Pilani, Dubai campus facilities such as hostel, health and safety provisions, etc.

International Students Scholarships

BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus offers scholarships to high-achieving international students with excellent academic results and potential. It also offers concessions and financial aid aimed at international students.

Meritorious GCC / Arab Nationals from several countries are offered a concession of up to 75% on the tuition fee for the normal duration of the programme (8 semesters) based on their performance in the qualifying examination(Grade 12 or equivalent) for the first year and continuity of a minimum CGPA of 6.00 on a 10.00 scale in the subsequent semesters, during the programme.

The Institute has collaborated with several banks in India and UAE to provide Education Loans to the needy students.

Visa Support Services

Visa Support Services

Student visa support is offered to all International students who enroll for a full-time basis in a program of study. The Institute facilitates the U.A.E.’s student visa through Dubai International Academic City as per the regulations of Government of Dubai. This enables international students to arrive in the UAE on an international student visa. Non-nationals residing in the UAE and enrolled for any programme at the Institute are also eligible to apply for a visa.

The Visa process is fairly easy as the international students are only required to sign the visa application form provided with the Admission offer letter and send it with their passport copy and photograph for the visa process. The visa is applied by the Institute and sent to the student as soon as it is issued. Visas are normally valid for a period of one year and renewed annually.
