Terms & Conditions of Student Referral Scheme

1.  The Student Referral Scheme (SRS) is applicable to current students (Referrers) to refer their friends / relatives / or colleagues who have never studied and / or are not currently studying with BPDC for any of the programmes currently offered. The main objective is to reward the efforts of students in enhancing the student community.

2.  In order to make a claim the Referrer must complete the student referral form available on the website and submit online. Referrer has to make sure that they submit completely filled student referral form before the last date of submitting the application form. BPDC reserves the right to conduct the necessary checks to verify the claim.

3.  Late requests or late submission of student referral form will not be entertained.

4.  Continuing students cannot be referred as new students.

5.  The Referrer must not:

·     Engage in unethical practices such as making claims, warranties, representations or statements which may be false, untrue, ambiguous, misleading, inaccurate or fraudulent.

·     Engage in high pressure sales or similar unfair practices. 

·     Collect any money from the referee under any circumstances. 

6.  The referred candidate must indicate that they were referred to BPDC by the referrer at the time of completing their application form by mentioning the name and BITS ID No. of the Referrer. Provision is made on the application form for this purpose.

7.  In addition, the application form must be a direct application and not submitted through a student recruitment representative.

8.  The referral is considered valid if the referred potential candidate gets admitted to BPDC as a regular full time student. Referrals of candidates who apply, go through the admission process but do not register or register without satisfying all academic and financial requirements, will not be counted.

9.  If multiple referrals are received for a single candidate, only the first referral received will be counted in the referral program.

8.  One student can refer a maximum of 5 candidates.

10. The referral request will only be processed after 14 days of start of class. The payment will be transferred to referrer’s account within 1month after referral request is processed, provided the referred candidate has paid tuition fees due.

11. In the event of the incentive being unavailable, BPDC reserves the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value.

12. The referral awards will have an expiration date.

13. BPDC retains the right to terminate the program at any time at its discretion.

14. Terms and conditions will be revised for each new academic year. Any additional changes will be published by Admission Team via well structured communication plan.

15. BPDC reserves the right to amend any terms and conditions pertaining to this scheme. The decision of BPDC's management on the incentive is final.
